THE RUNDOWN
Tucked inside the New Orleans Botanical Garden, Garden Study & Lath House is the most intimate space in The City Park Collection. Architect Richard Koch designed the Garden Study during City Park’s WPA era, and the renovation drew on its original name, the Old Potting Shed. Next door, the open-air Lath House adds natural light under a translucent roof. The space feels like a library tucked into a garden, and we built the brand around that pairing. A scalloped badge logo, finished in hand-lettered script, gives the identity the charm of a vintage garden label. A palette of sage blue, cream, deep green, and maroon is paired with a botanical pattern drawn from the plants surrounding the space. Original photography captures the brick, the lanterns, and the gardens just outside the door, while sales collateral and custom social graphics introduce it all to couples and planners. Like the space itself, the brand feels collected, well cared for, and right at home in the garden.
